About Us
Established at Pérez Art Museum Miami in 2020, the Green Family Foundation Caribbean Cultural Institute (CCI) is one of the only museum-based institutes in the world dedicated exclusively to advancing Caribbean art through research, artistic production, exhibitions, collection-building, and public programming. Building on PAMM’s longstanding commitment to the region, CCI was founded to generate new knowledge, support artists and scholars, and expand the understanding of Caribbean art within global contemporary art.
Rooted in Miami—a city deeply shaped by the histories, cultures, and communities of the Caribbean—CCI serves as a platform for regional and international collaboration. Through partnerships with artists, scholars, cultural practitioners, and institutions, CCI develops projects that advance scholarship, foster artistic exchange, and strengthen the field of Caribbean art.
In 2026, CCI entered a transformative partnership with the Green Family Foundation, expanding the Institute’s capacity and long-term vision. Today, the Green Family Foundation Caribbean Cultural Institute advances research, artistic innovation, and critical dialogue, shaping the future of Caribbean art and its place within global contemporary art.
